I have tried all of the tips and suggestions listed above and none have worked. Finally got rid of the error message. I also reset to the standard app for SMS along with disabling hangouts. I understand that you get the error "Message Expired or Not Available Message" Please disable Google Hangouts and then clear the cache on our device, once that is completed please test
