  • There may well be more than one, as this software is normally separated into different parts Importantly, look for one with a name like "MSSQL$".
  • Lot's of updates you list there.Perhaps there were too many for the OS to handle all at once.I think you have two options.1] A bit at a time.

Windows Update has failed I've run into the same problem recently: updates failing to install without any indication of why. Didn't help.My cure:Eventhough this pc came with WinXP which included SP2, I decided to clobber it with XP service pack 2 which I had in a local directory. This worked on every machine here.
