- Lot's of updates you list there.Perhaps there were too many for the OS to handle all at once.I think you have two options.1] A bit at a time.

Finaly found your fix which helped! Kb2533552 Application can't be started! Updates for SQL can stop SQL itself, as long as nothing else is trying to use it at the same time.Stating the obvious, but you'll need admin rights to fix thisWhere I am also unable to get either Mozilla or Enigma to run.

Windows Update has failed I've run into the same problem recently: updates failing to install without any indication of why. Didn't help.My cure:Eventhough this pc came with WinXP which included SP2, I decided to clobber it with XP service pack 2 which I had in a local directory. This worked on every machine here. Open up services.msc (like above, either click Start and Run, or use the "Start Search" box, then type services.msc and either click Ok or right-click and "Run as administrator") Stop any I have done a full check disk with no luck. Windows Update has failed I had same problem.
