I Need Help Desperately For Quattro Pro 12.
The merge pops right up, I can read all the comments easily, print the whole record if I want, and dispose of it. But when the file was reopened, it was [12/03/16]. The standard is wp's DAT file. Click Done. http://custsolutions.net/i-need/i-desperately-need-help.php
Above it and to the right is an "Add Date/Time Code" drop-down. 6. Richard Williams Sun, Dec 4 2016 3:35 AM In reply to frisbee: Thanks again for your thoughts. My son has a M/Surface tablet and uses it for work. Then a heading will appear.
What I mean is, can the different sheets of a spreadsheet in QP - i.e. Change Date and Time to the formats you wish to use. 2) In Quattro Pro, choose: Tools, Settings, Application, International. Using macros, nearly all things are possible, including running merges.
- Comment 17 bruce_a_johnson 2009-06-13 20:27:47 UTC To update and clarify, what is needed is import filters for .QPW and .WP3 file formats. .QPW format (Quattro Pro Windows), has been in use
- I wasn't sure what they were driving at.
- Plus when I go to the custom area and ADD a different date format, the same happens.
- And are all of these files in a folder where you have the right to modify files? (I.e., can you created a new text document there, save it, close it, reopen
- It is nearly always needed to answer queries effectively.
- Once it has been moved, people who are in a position to help you will be much more likely to see it.
- Thank you for your time.

This makes checking the contents of a single record quite easy. Anders R. Is there a sample sheet that you could zip and attach for us to look at? FYI: I still have Excel on my laptop and a free one called LibreOffice.
Cancel frisbee Sun, Dec 4 2016 12:15 AM In reply to Dr. When I attempt to open up the file first is when I get the not a valid Win32 application message. I've already discovered I have too many field names for one sheet: they go outside the sheet boundaries and wrap into row 2.You are using one field name per Cell? WordPerfect® is a registered trademark of Corel Corporation.
Cancel frisbee Sat, Dec 3 2016 9:49 PM In reply to Dr. I've written a shell macro (Alt-Shft-S) which (a) gets you back to the list screen if you're in the record screen, (b) determines if any records are marked, and if so I'm in desperate need (for 2005 taxes) of some info that may or may not be on a wb3 file I have. All of the seller, buyer, realtor, lender, title insurance, property and financial data for generating contracts, deeds, settlement documents, title insurance commitments and policies for each transaction.
But I'm lazy. But how do I do that? Anyway, nothing I do has made the date work right. weblink sheet A, sheet B, etc. - be linked so that the same row in all sheets would comprise one record.I am no merge expert, but I should be very surprised if
QP is a great program. Can you refer me to a good tutorial on that subject? By the way, Sheet 3 would not import from Excel as QP did not like the (=Bible!A32) format.
If you do not see your zipped file in the upper portion of the pane, go to the Add Files link (upper right), click Select Files, and find your zipped file.
A few diagnostic questions: Were you attempting to open them by clicking on them in the windows explorer (or otherwise) without first opening qp? You comment about "neat features" -- perhaps I will come across some. wb2 is from pre 1998 and has never been used here Comment 16 del_sur 2009-04-07 08:14:30 UTC I'm confused -- is there a way to convert wb3 files yet??? If it isn't, delete whatever is there. I have a macro in WP10 that merges TEMP.NB with a form that displays the record's information just the way I want. Change the Date and Time settings to Operating System Default (to use the above Windows formats), or to another format you want to use. 3) In Quattro Pro, highlight the fields
msslc05-09-2003, 11:40 PMYou mean I don't have to keep using the NoteBook program from the DOS WP Office suite forever? Sterner05-10-2003, 04:30 PMSure, you don't have to use Notebook, or as it was called in its last iterations, Database. Go to the lower window (in the middle of the dialog box). From the drop-down, choose "mo". 7.
I am not sure if I ever noticed it as being a Notebook before. If I attach one of my spreadsheets as an attachment for you to look at, will it be there for all to see? Could you give me an example of three cells in it where you want one of these three different date formats to appear and to re-appear on re-opening the file? What I mean is, can the different sheets of a spreadsheet in QP - i.e.
However, doing so this way resulted in receiving the dreaded filename.qpw is not a valid Win32 application. Need help with entering dates I have used Excel for some time and am wanting to use QP. In the windows explorer, do these files appear to have the size and file dates that you would expect? Go to Format | Selection (or hit F12).
LibreOffice cost me $.01 from Amazon but I do not need its word processor and more, and it really does not like Excel 2016 format, although it accepts the date formats. It will not be until after January 1. Thanks for your help! DavidD12-06-2002, 12:42 PMI think I found the answer in Quatro Pro help, and I think your comment about a flat-file database is probably the answer to my question.

Richard Williams ps: I have used Microsoft Office 365 for the past 2 years but dislike their "rental" of payment and am hoping to make QP work.
