I can actually echo his experiences -- I'm not afraid of using the command-line either; hell i grew up on DOS as far as PCs are concerned. Interestingly, I did not get the same message on my other Windows 7 laptop (64 bit) but I will check to see what Registry entries are on that machine. - I have not had opportunityto determine what changes have occurred since yesterday; however, I can state that the machine has not been booted since Paperport 14.5 last worked successfully.
- PaperPort has been working fine for months, then I got the Technote 6629 Message this morning.

The Windows 10 Registry takes a little more navigating but the solution is still the same.
