Can you ping other computers on the network by their computer name or by IP Address? you have to go to www.realtek.com and go to HD Audio Codec Driver by quick links and after you have to presh (i exept to the above) and after next and or are able to go to your modem???
- If so then your router is servicing internal requests ok Can you ping 126.96.36.199 - Google's IP address. - If so outside connections are ok.

Sounds like its just taking extra long to get allocated an IP address and get the network connection sorted out.
